So how much are the originals worth..?

Not sure if they are worth anything anymore. It was just an insane buying frenzy that went on with the original...It was the must have toy of the year. Like Cabbage Patch Kids in the 1980's.

Then in 1998 it was the Furby.

There really hasn't been anything crazy since....so maybe this will be the next Big Must Have Toy. Who knows

My guess is the originals aren't worth all that much because there were so many of them - they aren't a rare collector's item.

Mine no longer works correctly - it laughs, but doesn't shake, or shakes without laughing - kinda weird.

Wow these things are still holding there value. I've been hearing that they may not be able to meet the demand until after Christmas and that they are going to be selling for mucho dinero in the months approaching Christmas!

It seems like alot of people don't know about this yet. It will just get crazier when the elmo craze spreads to EVERYONE.
