The today\widgets pulldown

Is there any way when you pulling down the notification that the today\widgets will show first like it used to be on iOS 8\9?
I've tried to keep it on the today\widgets side before im closing it, but after when i opened it again, the notification came first... thats really annoying coz im using the widgets on a daily bases.

PS, dont tell me to pull it from the left side, coz this only working if you are on the first home screen page.

That ability should be back in iOS 10.2 (based on what various people have noticed in iOS 10.2 betas).

Similar experience. I missed the notifications shade when it wasn't the default, and now I miss the widgets screen when it's not the default.
