I'm surprised to see Microsoft Word on there (possibly the worst word processor known to man) and no mention of WordPerfect. OK, they messed up their first couple of Windows versions, but the DOS version was fantastic and a lot of people hated having to switch eventually.
 
I do think some Apple stuff should be put on there, and not just Red Hat Linux, but Linux and the concept of open source, the Open Source Foundation etc. should be put on too.
Good ones. Open Source licensing would be the innovation I'd say. SourceForge, CVS/Subversion, Google Code and countless other introductions have created such an online renaissance for peer-learning, its phenomenal. I almost feel that its a given that most computers have at least one open source application installed on it.
I honestly don't think Leopard deserves to be on that list. Mac OS X, yes. But Leopard by itself, no.
Agreed. That's what I said earlier too. While its an excellent OS, nothing completely game-changing has come along from distinct Mac OS versions.

Correct me if im wrong here but OS X is based on UNIX, which was a open source project, so without open source there would be no OS X :eek:
