Thought as much! He always struck me as a Mac-type, whereas Jeremy is a kind of ultra-extremist PC user. That said doesn't Jeremy have an iPhone? Or did I just imagine that up.

He does have an iPhone and has mentioned iPod quite a bit in Top Gear as well.

whereas Jeremy is a kind of ultra-extremist PC user.

Why would you think that?
He's more of a "I don't care much about computers" type. He probably hardly knows the difference between Windows and Mac OS X, and never heard of Linux.

But, they have shown some Macs on Top Gear. :)
That Scottish runner who beat Jeremy on a rainy Tuesday morning at rush hour had a PowerBook G4 Ti, IIRC.
The polar episode in which Sir Ranulph Fiennes was present, they were looking at pictures on a MacBook.
The word "iPod" is used a lot too!

Man, I JUST discovered this show this past weekend on the BeebOOsuh.

I was just about to switch it and, boom.. Aston Martin Vantage Roadster.

Great show!

Got my wife into too!

Surprised no-one else has posted yet, but I just saw the trailer for the new series (on BBC2 in the UK) - starts 8pm on Sunday 22 June!

The trailers themselves are minisodes of Top Gear - silliness, arguments, biscuits, Ferraris and the Stig.

More cocking about in cars - bring it on, boys! :D

Haha, the excitement that I felt when that came on, I felt 5 years old again. 'What we need is a Ferrari, no two Ferrari's powersliding round a Bentley... that also powersliding'.

@ Rhosfelt: Just watch it on BBC iPlayer.

Also, I've read whats in this season/series in Top Gear magazine, and I'm crying for it to hurry up. At least we've got Dave in the UK which plays older episodes throughout the day. Great for a layabout like me! =]

YES. I didn't bother much with Top Gear till Dave turned up. It was always that fun show that I missed. But now during dinner or tea it's just "hey whats on freeview..." realise the only good channels are 19 and 80, and I've already know the events of channel 80 :D

/me doesn't like Top Gear on Dave, because they re-edit it to fit the adverts etc.

I just archive the old episodes on my NAS for when I want to see them again :D

Yer sometimes the editing on Dave is really poor hash job. They had some on BBC3 recently. Wouldn't mind it for the adverts but they have cut out some of the best bits occasionally. Heck why edit it and just make the program take up 1.15 hours.

Nice to see a running thread here about the show. I didn't know it existed.

I agree that the trailer is really great - well the one without the cookies in the mug.

I know iPlayer is not prime telly watching awesomeness, but if you're spontaniously combusting to see a show, then you'd sacrifice size. Also, the Beeb's iPlayer is rather good quality.

And although Dave's editing is shameless, if there weren't adverts, we'd never see it again.

Isn't iPlayer restricted to UK residents only? I have tried to access it in the past and receive an error message after about 5-10 seconds of play (or at least the into station advert).

Yes, as we pay for it via our TV license fee. You could use some sort of UK based proxy to fool it perhaps...
