I have never heard anyone who discussed the difference between iPhone 8 and X, mostly because everyone think it’s the exact same processor.

But watching the keynote, you’ll that the iPhone X highlights some new CPU features compared to the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus and that is the Nerual Engine. Even Schiller called the CPU for the iPhone 8 the A11 Bionic and the one in iPhone X for A11 Bionic Neural Engine.

As I know the Nerual Engine is especially crafted for iPhone X, whereas the iPhone 8 donkt have a Nerual Engine? Or what?

As another forum member indicated already, you need to refer to Apples specification page, the processors are shared exactly the same amongst each other in the iPhone 8 and iPhone X.

It’s the same CPU. They use neural engine for machine learning too not only for FaceID so they put it in both of them.
