I'm curious, how much TV do most MacRumors users watch a week, not counting the shows you download of iTunes? Do you have cable? What shows do you watch?

I'll start:
At most, 1 hour per week.
No.
The Office.

House M.D. and 24 weekly....Criminal Minds when I can.

Sometimes Numbers, or House M.D. reruns on USA network...as for iTunes stuff, that changes

I use a DVR, natch, but my regulars are:

House
Battlestar Galactica
King of Cars

I watch Law & Order (SVU mostly) & CSI, but not regularly. I watch maybe 3-5 hours per week on average.

I watch LOST, Heroes and Family Guy weekly, but I DVR more than that and catch up when I can. Another show I watch that I catch as often as I can is Studio 60.

Beyond that, I mostly leave it on the Food Network for background noise.

Mostly download shows.

The Office
Harvey Birdman
Aqua Teen
Malcolm in the middle

We have cable. Not allowed to have satellite in the part of the city where we live. About 2 hours of watching, but mostly while on the computer (watching a taped "Bullets of Broadway" now). Mostly, the TV programs are taped to scratch the commercials
Heroes
24
Numbers
Medium
Jeopardy
Surf between Discovery Channel; PBS; Food Network; MuchMusic (Canadian equiv of MTV); MusiquePlus (the French Quebec equiv of MuchMusic; great benefit of living in a French province is seeing videos you'll never see in the US)
DVR and DVD Movies
I HATE "reality" shows

religiously, every week, no matter what:

24
Lost
Deadliest Catch
Work Out
The Sopranos
and until it was cancelled/hiatused/otherwise gone Studio 60

and then a mix of DVR/surfing (only when i have the time, which varies depending on how many project i have at a given moment):

Mythbusters
Tyler's Ultimate
How It's Made
Planet Earth
Futurama
ATHF
Greg The Bunny
Home Movies
random stuff on IFC
random stuff on The Science Channel
random stuff on the DIY Network

I'm usually too busy watching DVDs to watch any TV. I try to catch Heroes when it's on, but I've missed a few episodes when my Netflix workload was high that day. I also watch some reruns in the background between when my last movie finishes and I'm ready to go to sleep.

I watch a bit of TV, usually just my crime shows unless im flicking over and something looks good.

CSI NY / Legas
Law & Order SVU / CI
The OC / One tree hill (Finished / Cancelled here)
MTV
Fuel TV

Scrubs
The Simpsons
Lost
House

When i can
Futurama
Aqua Teen hunger force (btw who here has seen the movie)

History and Discovery channel have some great shows

No cable. Too expensive, I cannot justify the cost.

Likes:
24
Lost
Prison Break (off until august)
Cold Case, on occasion.
Cops. A nice look into What Hunter Thompson called "The Savage Heart of America".
Drive. A limited run series. Not bad. Not great, but not bad. I can't see it as a permanent series.

I like syndication shows that are 1/2 an hour. I'll put the TV on if I'm cooking - which is not often enough. TV on avg...about 2 hrs a week total?

But generally I don't watch tv shows anymore. It's all crap. Desperate Housewives used to be good, and same with Grey's. If I'm around I try to catch CSI. But usually I just watch DVDs. Redbox is amazing.

History Channel is amazing. I also love the Science Channel (which is technically Discovery I think). Midday they have lots of engineering specials on about trains, bridges, and buildings and I'm a sucker for that stuff. Haven't had time to veg in front of the tv lately though.

If I watch tv, I usually watch a film on HBO/ ect., or on AMC/ TCM. That's American Movie Classics and Turner Classic Movies on Directv here in Cali.

Sometimes the Discovery Science channel gets my attention for a few hours.
The History channel as well.

I bought the Buffy the Vampire Slayer tv sets from iTunes. Along with some Dave Chappelle and a few other comics. This Dave Chappelle is totally worth $2 if you're in the US.:D

Uhm Dave Chappelle isn't worth anything...But you like hat you want, no need for me to tell you otherwise. :p

When they're on I watch-

Casualty
Doctor Who
Robin Hood
Life on Mars (such a perfect series)
Spooks
Peep Show
The Apprentice
Lost
Have I got News for you

That's pretty much it, ever. Unless there's a great looking one off miniseries like Superstorm or Mobile.
We have Sky but don't watch it, it really is just crap. Got Freeview hooked up to every TV now (all... 12 of them! which is strange as we don't watch much TV). Pretty much a BBC addict with their awesome stuff, but I wouldn't mind just not watching TV. A last resort media!

Hey VFrankBlack like me am also can't watch it as a parmanent series.

I dunno.

I dont technically own a TV.

Just a 27" computer monitor, a Media Center PC, a FIOS set-top box, and BitTorrent. :3

I mainly watch japanese shows and anime.

I watch a few hours a day... Simpsons, Friends, Futurama, Top Gear, Doctor Who... Lots of stuff I watch, TV tends to take up a large portion of my life.

I got Sky, so i watch a bit in the evenings, about 2.5 hours unless i'm working, mainly watch things like 'only fools & horses' or 'the worlds lost tribes' or 'Topgear' or any discovery program to do with history, the war, manufacturing or science, usually something interesting on there,
Can't stand the news and haven't time for soaps i.e neighbors. eastenders or coronation street, they bore the crap outta me, got the movie channels but haven't watched anything on those for last 2 years (nothing worth watching)
i watch the worlds rally championship when i can remember on sunday evenings, but i like to watch a good rugby or football (soccer) match, don't really follow a team, just like to see football played well.

Sure there was a thread like this recently...

Anyway, i watch about 1 hour a day. Maybe more at weekends.

Top Gear,
Have I Got News For You,
Never Mind The Buzzcocks,
Battlestar Galactica.
