I don't watch much TV but I do try to watch Grey's Anatomy and Boston Legal weekly. And I'll catch the occasional reruns of Star Trek, Law and Order and ER (when it was still a good show).

Almost never turn on the TV itself.

But I'll watch Lost via ABC's site. And I think GA is still out on the writer's strike, no? Last time I checked the site, no new episodes...

I v much prefer to watch TV via DVD. Wait 'til a season ends, is released on DVD, and rent. Does that count?

I watch less than an hour a week, I'm sure.

That hour is probably a specific sporting event. For instance, this weekend I watched the last half of the Daytona 500. Early this month I watched the Superbowl.

It has been ages since I watched any show regularly. I watched The West Wing and ER for the first couple seasons they were on air. Before that, you'd have to go back to when MASH was first aired.

I listen to talk radio more and more. It's something I can do while I'm working. TV makes me feel violated; and alot of the "reality" shows are just insulting.

Not counting those downloaded from iTunes? Then it's zero hours. My TV broke back in the summer and I found I didn't really miss it at all. Everything I want to watch (which isn't much) is on iTunes anyway. I may get the TV replaced at some point so I can get an :apple:TV, but I'm in no hurry.

I try to catch these whenever possible:

House
CSI
Numbers
Mythbusters
Modern Marvels

These are the channels I put on while doing work around the house:

Science Channel
ESPN
G4

I'm curious, how much TV do most MacRumors users watch a week, not counting the shows you download of iTunes? Do you have cable? What shows do you watch?

Not much, I don't have a TV.
No Cable.
The only show I ever watch is Top Gear. (Actually my son prefers to be tucked in with TG rather than a story. It's like "Jessica" is a conditioned stimulus for drowsiness.

On my free evenings I might watch a show or two and MAYBE a movie, the rest of the time I am usually on the computer (though now with dual monitors I have gotten in the habit of putting on a show and surfing the web at the same time instead of playing music.

We do not have cable at my house and when I move out I probably won't be able to afford Cable TV + Cable Internet so I will just have the internet (though I am debating if I should save some money and go to DSL, see my thread on that). Probably a few hours a week I am in the same room with something going on the TV, probably an hour or so actually paying attention and _watching_.

I never watch too episodes on TV when i feel free from my work then i watch some episodes who coming on tv but i really want to watch some episodes like lost. gossip girl etc on dvd.
