Storage is lacking.
Should be:
Apple SSD: 8TB
Pegasus j2i: 2 x 7.68TB Micron 5210 Ion 2.5” SATA ssd (in software RAID 0)
Pegasus r4i: 4 x 7.68TB Micron 5210 Ion 2.5” SATA ssd (in hardware RAID 5)
Every free pcie slot: 1 x Delock 89469 adapter + 1 x 7.68TB WD Ultrastar DC SN630 U.2 ssd

I want to know if it can open more than two chrome tabs with it being brought to it’s knees
 
Give it a try and see how many chrome tabs it takes before it saturates the ram. I'm interested.

Nope, I have no interest in those Sata SSDs, I just interest in Intel DC P series. well, the internal ssd, I have the 8TB module, and will install it another day. I need another MPX VII Duo, not those slow SATAs

dude, believe it or not, this guy can get any apple parts not on the retail market, even the "apple SSD" in mac Pro and make it work with T2(yes. the proprietary one)

he is famous
btw he wrote some books about MacOS as well

as far as I know, he is probably the first person that upgrade the 3275M 28 cores in Mac Pro.

I must be missing something obvious but I still don't know what they are waiting for.

At the release day, I just ordered one duo with my MP. when 2020 comes, I can order those part with huge discount at almost 25% off, so why not waiting for it ?
