Ever since I had the earlier macbook pro, It was not a problem moving the notebook up and down, carrying it just to take it to the bedroom, or carry it for a second. Now, with my new UMBP, I hear the hard drive "click" either if I pick it up or hit the table. Why?

The UMBP hard drive more sensitive than early macbook pro. why?

the "click" is the motion sensor kicking in. Motion sensor retracts the head of the HDD preventing any damage. Perfectly normal.
