You will not get your upgrade back right away and it'll take days if not a week to get it back. That's because the carrier is very slow to get that done. Especially if it's AT&T - last time it took them 2 weeks to get mine reset and I left them because of it.

Ok well what do you think? The charges have been made to my card despite the wrong billing address...will that be a problem slash can I change it first thing tomorrow once Apple is accepting calls again?

Everything else is correct and I got the shipping address confirmation e-mail.

Two here. One (black 32gb) was through Mobile App, one (black 16gb) through Chrome (Safari just wouldn't work - irony!)

Both say will deliver 9/21

Got both confirmation emails and both orders show fine in my Apple account.

Call them and ask but it should be ok. If you cancel you might not be able to order for a while. If the charge goes through I don't see what the problem is.

Yeah I'm definitely not cancelling it now.

I mean the charges show up on my online statement, but they're still "pending" if that makes sense. Couldn't it be rejected based on billing address slash will Apple let me edit it tomorrow?

I just want to sleep in peace haha no more issues. At least it'll come to the right place.

wow that was almost too easy. Ordered from Apple.com no problem Kinda irked that i couldn't change my shipping address. Checked ATT directly online and it got hung up during the checking line for upgrade eligibility.

I couldn't order from the apple store or AT&T's pre-order page on IE for some reason. The apple store app on my iPad worked flawlessly. 2 whites (16) and 1 black (64) coming on 9/21.

Web orders using Safari on Mac and PC had various stutters.

Apple store App on iPad and iPhone worked well and order for iPhone and extra lighting cable passed through with only one issue.

App would not add Applecare+ before during or after placement in cart.

Customer service will be very busy this AM.

Apple store and AT&t store still were down on both my PC and laptop via IE and Safari. Had no problem ordering via Apple App store confirmed delivery 9/21.

Understand some people are already getting delivery showing two weeks.

That's just to show there is a "pending" charge to your checking account. You'll be charged the TOTAL PRICE ONLY WHEN IT IS SHIPPED, and not until then. Don't worry you'll get charged! It's standard operating procedure with Apple and the Banking community. You'll be fine. Hope this helps.

Curious why some folks have "processing" status already. I got 2 order confirmations at 3:25 and 3:29. Both say 9/21, but both are still at order received. I'm sure it's fine. Glad I woke up early. I had my alarm set for 3:45.

Tried both ATT.com and Apple.com, no dice. Got both orders through on the iPhone app no problem.

Password Error

Adding a new phone to an existing acct w. Verizon.
Get to the Check Eligibility page (both on web and iPad Apple Store app) but I get an error for my Verizon password. When I go to the VZW site I can log in with the password just fine (verified).

Traffic problems or my account?

I ordered from apple.com and my carrier is At&t. My shipping address is wrong on my invoice and it won't let me change it. Apple is also not answering their phones!!!! What can I do???

It all depends on your bank. A few years ago for the 3GS I was charged immediately. I changed banks when the 4S came out and I had Pending charges until it shipped. This time around with the same bank they are pending once again. It all depends on your bank and if you use a debit or a credit card...
