For the longest time I, like so many others, have used The Weather Channel app on my iPad and iPhone. But recently the app was redesigned and now it’s an annoying disaster.
It was so easy to read and use before. But now, particularly on iPad, it’s dominated by an oversized radar map you cannot resize or get rid of. Seriously WTF? Even the iPhone iOS version was easy to use and intuitive before, but now it’s a pain. Who possibly thought this extensive change was an improvement that would be welcome?
I can’t stand this thing now and have deleted it from my devices. I won’t go back to using it until it’s changed back into a usable form thats easy and intuitive and no longer frustrating to use.
For now I gladly use the Apple Weather app primarily because it gives me what I want at a glance and further information without much issue.
