The Weather Channel - Bandwidth Hog

Not sure what happened but in a recent update this app has turned into an absolute bandwidth hog and will just gobble up tons of your cellular data. I reset my stats and found it using 0.5GB in 1 day - crazy.

Be warned - if you're seeing a sudden spike in your data usage and are not on an unlimited plan, this app is currently majorly broken.

Sorry to bring this post back to life, but I was just gonna post this. I know I posted above that it wasn’t using a lot of data for me, but this is in the last week.

I use it and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary as far as data usage.
