Watching this immersive video was an amazing and very enjoyable experience. Watching incredible content like this in addition to my AVP use for many work tasks is incredible. Thanks Apple
The Weeknd? It's "The Weeknd", and "he" is not a band.
sorry, not everybody pay those prices, which is good, i could it, but i DONT want it,People spend 3x or 4x more than that for a good Home Theater that doesn't compare to the AVP.
My iPad Pro was over $2K, the AVP was more money and more useful to me.
And $3500 is not what it used to be in the late 90s.

I do because all those are tools I use for work, including the AVP.sorry, not everybody pay those prices, which is good, i could it, but i DONT want it,
One seat will cost about $3000K, and that's just the seat. How much do they spend on a Home Theater with one seat?
Not sure about that. The audience for operas, symphonies, and musicals is pretty substantial. Immersive AVP versions might be especially popular if the camerapeople could run around onstage and get views from there. Or not.alfonsog said:
I’d love if we could get immersive opera or symphonies or musicals. I’m not interested in pop artists. I spent more on my violin bow than avp.
that's even more niche and never gonna happen than me wishing they were making ones for obscure Swedish progressive metal bands lol
If you’re paying that much for a seat you’re being ripped off lmao. One seat will cost about $3000K, and that's just the seat.
I use it everyday me too. Don’t care about frustrated people.I still use it almost every day, for work and entertainment. At home and on the road.
If the AVP (I still read that as "Alien vs Predator" every time) were $500, I would absolutely buy one. Paying $3500 to watch VR videos reminds me of paying $20 for five minutes in a VR arcade machine in the late 90s.

My real use-case for AVP is a big screen for my MBP. When I first started using it, I felt I wasn't getting enough screen that I had dreamed of, but now that I am using it more regularly, I'm loving it! I am really looking forward to the wide and and the ultra wide when it comes out of beta. The ability to work on a large screen monitor that is not physically restricted to a room or desk or what not, but can be taken with me to airplane, hotel or backyard is what makes it worth $3500.
Being able to enjoy older panorama photos in an immersive mode is really special for me; panoramas were really not that big a deal until I got an AVP. Although the panoramas don't have that 3D effect of spatial photos or videos, the surround affect is pretty immersive!
The consumptive stuff (watching conventional movies & videos and the odd video game) is secondary to the above, but it is a rich experience and I have no regrets.
Yeah, $3500 is high, but Apple really engineered this nicely; this tech can't come for free, and it needs to be useful for the consumer; for me, I love it, for others, maybe less so but I have no regrets.
The 3D stuff is pretty cool (like the Weeknd's Music video), but I suspect it is being produced to heighten curiosity for the fence-sitters and get more butts in the demo chair to check out the AVP. More people in, the more Apple will be compelled to build the next gen devices.
If you live near an Apple Store and haven't done a demo, do it just to experience it for yourself. When I did mine, there was no pressure to sell, just a "I hope you liked the demo, do you have any questions". I felt almost like I had to beg to buy the AVP! ;-p
Have you tried the ‘out there’ musical on Vision Pro? It’s really cuteI’d love if we could get immersive opera or symphonies or musicals. I’m not interested in pop artists. I spent more on my violin bow than avp.

But people sit and watch a big screen TV at home alone and no one asks what the point of that is?The point is that no one builds a Home Theater that has only one seat, which is what the AVP is.
I meant to say $3K not $3000KIf you’re paying that much for a seat you’re being ripped off lmao.

It has its purpose. And being a personal Theater is just one of them. When with friends, you just want to either watch on TV or go to the movies. The point is that no one builds a Home Theater that has only one seat, which is what the AVP is.
As someone who uses a Vision Pro for hours a day as my main device
I know more than a handful of people who have done it, and spent over $10K on it.The point is that no one builds a Home Theater that has only one seat, which is what the AVP is.
