We always seem to have a good natured argument every year about who got their order in first. It's always good fun. :)

I'll start:

Using the Apple Store app on the iPhone (I don't think apple.com came up until 12:20)
12:10AM

My confirmation email came in 12:04, so I must have ordered maybe 12:02.

I got my order in at 1:50cst (11:50 Pst) verizion site came online early. My email says 1:55am (cst)

My confirmation email came in 12:04, so I must have ordered maybe 12:02.
Were you using the app? I was constantly refreshing and it didn't come up for me until like 12:08, and I got my order in about 60 sec later. Obviously Apple has thousands of servers that probably come up at different times for different regions.

My confirmation email says 2:57am eastern time ordered through Verizon but I am pretty sure there were AT&T people who got their orders in before me.

My order went in at 2:45am EST on AT&T's website. I've seen people get in even earlier than I did though.

Definitely not me. Darn Apple site was not accessible to me for almost an hour. I know, the app is better, but up here in Canada if you want to use your Apple Financial account, you must use the website. Apple Financial gets you three months of interest free financing.

In retrospect I should have used the app to secure the phone and then called in to change payment method. I had no issues with the site two years ago when I got my 5s.

Finally got an order in via the site about an hour later and am in the 2-3 week tranche for a SG 6s Plus, 128 GB. I then got a silver version, same specs with 9/25 delivery. That was about 1.5 hours after pre-order. Could still get one with that delivery date hours later. By then pretty much all 64-128 GB Plus models were at 2-3 weeks.

Almost canceled the Space Grey one, but I love the black iToys. I think I'm going to take them both and either return the white one or sell it.

Also managed to get a SG one reserved in store for 8:30 AM (via the app) on the 25th but will probably cancel it. They don't take Apple Financial either and I've got another appointment, same time and day.

Either way, I've got a 6s Plus coming and that's a good thing. :)

I got my iPhone Upgrade Program confirmation email at 12:08am. This was with the help on 9 web browsers spanning 1 Mac, 1 PC, Parallels on the Mac for extra browsers and my iPhone lol

My understanding is that Cliff J. was the first. I think he got the congratulatory email from Mr. cook. I could be wrong but that is what I heard

Ordered a 6s and not a 6s+ accidentally. Hence, this order got cancelled and I went through Apple Store App at 3:09am EST to reorder as the ATT website got crushed after I cancelled.

I got my confirmation from within the app at 1:11am MST. Didn't get my email from apple until 7:30 am.

Got mine in at 2:50 EST, confirmation at 2:53 EST. This was using mobile friendly version of AT&T website. The AT&T app wasn't working as smoothly as their website. Also noticed from the night before I could get my information loaded faster on their mobile site rather than their full site.
