The message I receive from time to time when surfing: the wireless network has been compromised and will be shut down one minute.
I can let it reconnect faster if I disable the wifi completely and re-enable it. But this is of course quite annoying.

I've had this problem since the release of Mavericks (or even the version before that I don't know). I looked it up back then and a solution was that I should change the network name. I did and it appears to have been less but recently (and I think (not sure) this coincides with the upgrade to El Capitan).

Is there any definite solution to this? How is this caused?

    Perhaps change your network password?

Please set network security to WPA2 AES (not TKIP!).

It was indeed set on AUTO (TKIP/AES), changed it to only AES. I will let you know, thanks!

You are welcome, I hope it will solve your problem for good. This issue, btw, is well-known and usually is solved setting the network security to WPA2 AES (no WPA and TKIP mixed modes).
    Good luck!
