Theft recovery software/services

Do you have any experiences or recommendations for theft recovery software/services compatible with Macbooks?

There's Orbicule's Undercover, Hidden, and Abolute's LoJack, and probably more. But I'm not sure why I should pick one over the other, or if they are even worth purchasing.

Use Apple's free, included FileVault2 full disk encryption coupled with iCloud's free Find my Mac service and you are all set. I don't see any reason to pay for third party products when Apple gives you what you need for free.
