Themes withouth WB

I think a main battery drain was winterboard, is it possiable to use themes withouth WB? I miss lockscreen info 🙁 I think too that WB also caused quite alot of lag too

Yes u can replace the stock icons and backround thru ssh. But u can do more and it's way easier with WB.

I would be vary wary of replacing App icons through ssh. Everytime I've tried to do it with either a stock or 3rd party app the phone won't get past the Apple logo upon reboot. Beware.

Maybe I will have to wait for a WB update to hopefully fix the battery/lag issues

You should check this out. It helps with the lag, I used it when I had winterboard.

I did that, but some icons would have Apple's glow overlay applied to them.

Yes of course you can pretty much totally theme your phone without Winterboard. You can't have the wallpaper without Winterboard though. I had my phone completely customized before. Then I wanted to change it up again. I realized just how much of a pain it was going to be and went back to using Winterboard. Battery drain? What? Lag? That depends on how much crap you're installing.

Your title says "Themes without Winterboard"

That's a statement and it is not really possible except to some limited degree (SSH everything and replacing all system files)

The poster suggested you add a question mark so as to not mislead people into thinking you could do this.
