worked for me. Be sure to change the sub direcory your icon is in to "Read/Execute" and the Plist and Icon to "read" only. I used Ifile but if you SSH use the codes he suggested.
ps. I did try this and opened Youtube a few times and it worked. No issues. If you change the directory to the wrong permissions your icon will not show up on your homescreen but the file is there. Just change the permissions again and it'll pop back up after a respring. No problems.
