so i use the nixhd theme, so my lockscreen is covered.

can i theme just my homescreen and dock area without touching the NIX theme on my lockscreen?

They're completely independent with the below exception.

Just keep in mind if you're using pre-created themes a lot include Lock Screens. Most tend to have two entries (or more) that separate each feature of the theme, but others it's a single package so if you select it then it will force itself active.
