There are lines everywhere...what's wrong with my iMac???

    There are a bunch of horizontal lines that're plaguing my iMac. What's causing this?

    I would worry more about the splattered blood! :eek:

    Firefox is having trouble rendering. Switch to Chrome or Safari.


    ...unless it's widespread - do you see it on other apps, or your desktop?

    Yes, it pops up on my desktop as well. And occasionally when I watch movies in the Quicktime player.

    Odd, it's obviously not a display problem, as it is a screen shot.

    Yes seems like a software problem.
    Does it disappear when you drag another window over the desktop?

    No, I can "hide" it if I put something over it. Its really odd. My friend says it's from overheating.
