Then change your browser. The browser I used the top bar will show once I reverse the scroll direction.
Like in this forum the latest posts are at the bottom. So you want to move to bottom.
Also when you first navigate to a page you are at the top. Then you read down the page....why the heck you want to go back up when you already finished reading that part.
EDIT: Not worth it. I said I was done, and I mean it.
At the end of the day, I couldn't care less.
Although that statement is somewhat disingenuous, I started out my day not caring.
It's great on IOS for sure, but because of the different scrolling behavior, not necessary on Android.Tap to top is something I find incredibly valuable, and it irks the hell out of me that android hasn't found its own solution for that task.

Yeah that's nonsense. This isn't anything to do with "scrolling behavior". The 3rd page in this thread takes 8 swipes to return to the top on my S5 That's incredibly tedious for frequent forum peruser.
Tap to top is a phenomenal user experience enhancement.
^^ Agree.
Tap-a-talk?
^^ Agree. Like the feature, but there are Android browsers that support it.
Which android browsers and are they as good as the stock Samsung browser which I prefer for a couple of reasons, including immersive mode.
Tapatalk rules. All the forums I post on I use it.
i have a question how far ago was the samsung s5 released was it in juni 2014? in other words when will the s6 appear thats my question ?
The iPhone is the single best selling phone model in the world. But there are other phone makers out there. Apple keeps losing market share. Why is that then? Since 2011 they have lost about 7% globally. I am sure the numbers will get better by the year end reports due to strong IP6 sales. But they will not get that much better in the global market.Just wanna say tap to top is a great feature. One I'm sure others would want as well. Tap to bottom is not nearly as effective. It's about going through the content, from top to bottom, then either swiping back or at the top to the URL. It's ridiculous really to even argue that tap to bottom is more useful than tap to top
God iPhones are so bleh huh. They've only been the top selling smartphone every year. They must be terrible lol

So if the IOS is so much better why does it get trounced globally?

Wow the best selling smartphone not selling as much as a huge multitude of different phones from different oems that share the same os? That's a shocker really lol. If iOS is so bad nobody should be buying the iPhones then. Who's the biggest android flagship oem? Samsung? Cuz last time I read their s5 was being outsold by the 5s and the 5s came out a year ago.
Yeah apple is doomed I guess smh.
Why is is wonky? Number do not lie....That's a wonky way to look at the nature or smartphone sales and growth.
The smartphone market was much smaller, and relative to that market, Apple's piece of the pie was larger at one time.
In a larger smartphone market Apple's slice is smaller sure, but the iPhone is still the single best selling brand of smartphone on the planet.
Apple is getting trounced in a way other companies only dream about, especially Samsung whose mobile division is having problems sustaining momentum in the way Apple is not with the iPhone 6 and 6+

"Most of Android's strength this quarter was fueled by gains in the low (US$100<US$200) and ultra low-end (<US$100) of the market, seeing those categories grow 16.5% sequentially since the first quarter."
Apple doesn't play on those market segments and IMO those market segments are the reason iPhone global merket share dropped. And no, even iPhone 6 and 6+ wouldn't improve that number if that's what you're after.
If we could have a flagship only sales chart just then we can see whether iOS and iPhones are actually declining or not.
Why is is wonky? Number do not lie....
The iPhone is the single best selling phone in the world. No doubt about it. That was not what my post was about. The person I replied to knocks all Android features...... I was showing him that if it is so bad..........why does it have the lion's share of the market?
Sorry but the only thing wonky here is this^^^^^Also, android is not a company, but an lite portable OS that is put in everything from phones, to refrigerators, and Nasa satellites. That's no exaggeration, Android is literally used in rice cookers. So when trying to formulate some opinion based upon "market share" logically it just doesn't work when trying to compare iOS to android in terms of installed units.
Sorry but the only thing wonky here is this^^^^^
We were comparing smartphone sales....
If Apple choose not to port/make its OS available to be used in different efforts. That is one them....... If they choose not to participate then that is their choice. But it should not be held against their competitors sales numbers.
The same can be said about the lower end phone market. That is on Apple if they choose not to participate in that category.
I mean they are one of if not the most profitable companies in the world. So they do not need to have a higher percentage of the market. They are doing fine......
Okay compare smart phone sales then.
Name a smartphone model that sells more than the iPhone...
Doesn't matter...., sales are still sales. That's like saying we will only compared sales of IOS phones with s stylus. Since Apple doesn't choose to participate in the lower end market doesn't mean we should exclude them from global sales reporting.
Maybe you didn't follow what was being replied and quoted....so I will refresh it for you......
Here is what we were talking about....smartphones sales by OS....this is the graphic the last two posters and myself were debating.

"iOS experienced a slight drop in market share, down to just 11.7% from 13.0% in the same quarter last year, representing the growing shift of demand toward low-cost smartphones"
Let's assume hypotheticaly that iOS is better than Android . Those who are looking for <$200 phones still can't buy an iOS device because there aren't any iPhones on that price range.
Apple only care about their segments market share, not the overall industry market share. If they are still the leader on their market segments (and they still are) it means that they are on the right track.
I guess time will tell..... Lets see whats happens in the next couple of years....Guess that explains why android phone makers are doing so well.
There's a term for that. Race to the bottom.
