Does anyone know how to automatically load programs once the computer boots up?

System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items 😉

 

[Unorthodox]

You have to go to "System Preferences", "Accounts", "Login Items".
Dragn' drop apps or files there to have them automatically start on a boot or login.
