There must be more to the iPhone 7...

Ok people will think I'm crazy. But I don't think these rumours are making sense. There was an article saying the biggest change would be removing the headphone jack. Anyone else think Apple is spreading these rumours to throw us off, or the analysts have no ideas? If Apple seriously thinks that the iPhone 7 will be successful with what it's looking like, they are throwing their value away. I think that there will be something major like dual cameras, or if not the "2017 iPhone" will actually be released this year.

Who knows but if the iPhone 7 is like this, I'm really concerned for Apple
 
Make no mistake there will be more features added to the 7. Something we don't know about.

However yeah it won't be as good as what it will be in 2017 from all reports.

That said if it has

Waterproof
Duel camera
More speakers
Improved speeds

It will do and chances are I will still upgrade. I and many others are saying now they won't but Apple will add more to the phone than just what's been leaked.

Recent reports say there wont be dual lens camera. But if there is, I guess there is a reason to upgrade if they do some good things with it. But if not, the phones going to be a failure.. But indeed as you said there must be something we don't know about. Apple knows business!

I think the report of removing duel camera is bogus to be honest. They can't remove something this late in the game when they are starting production like now.

No duel camera? Then Apple would be in trouble as they seemed to have all their plans towards the duel camera.

Guess it depends what is seem as failure as you know it will still sell millions and millions but compared to last year it may continue to dip

Agreed. In fact what they truly should've done is made the 2017 iPhone this years. But if we need to wait for them to perfect the design, whatever. I just think many will switch to Samsung soon if they keep a stale design. After all, the design was likely the main reason the iPhone 6 was so popular.

Yeah Samsung are making some stunning devices lately. I have the S7 Edge myself and is very impressive. That said a lot stay with Apple due to the OS and how stable it is so I reckon at worse a lot will just stick with their 6s devices I imagine and wait till next year.

With these, I will not upgrade. The dual camera lens maybe for the 5.5 inch. This will give me a chance to save for the 2017 model or even the Samsungs 8 next March, and also give a kick into Tim Cooks rear end that Apple dropped the ball on the 7. ;)

That list is essentially the upgrades from the Galaxy s6 to s7. im sure there will be additional surprises in the iPhone 7.

That remains to be seen. And the continued improvement of Android phones with each year just narrows that gap even more.

one thing that I do know...owners of the 6s and the SE will happily sit on their phones if the 7 doesn't deliver the goods.

The removal of the headphone jack plus people talking about the 10th anniversary iPhone in 2017 is trivializing the iPhone 7. Its just too distracting. I personally believe there will be more too it than we are expecting. Its still early though, plenty of time for more rumors to leak.

I have read most the rumors and do so every year. If you toss out the high and low somewhere in between you will find facts that are true. All I have read is the 7 will be a modest bump in technology while the 8 will knock your socks off. I tend to minimize expectations to minimize disappointment.

I will get the 7+ but the new operating system is also looked forward too.

I find all these conflicting and sometimes appalling rumors highly entertaining. I think I'm half chaos demon or something. ;)

Actually, I'm just happy that for the first time in a long time nobody knows exactly what the hell is going on and I stand a small chance of being slightly surprised when the new models are finally announced. I'm in a good position in that I'm keeping my SE no matter what. The 6S Plus can stay or get traded based on the quality of what is actually released.
