There was an error in Security & Privacy preferences.

    Hi
    I cannot install any new applications as I need to approve them in Security and Privacy but I cannot unlock them. It accepts my account but throws error.

    Hopefully someone knows a fix! Cannot change users either.

    I temporary disabled the Gatekeeper, installed app and turned it on back again.

    Thank you. Damn that was obvious really!

    Are you getting the same error? I also get it for user accounts.


    Command used to disable using bash (iTerm2)... not sure what zsh commands are.
    sudo spctl --master-enable
    sudo spctl --master-disable
    spctl --status

    I turned off reduce motion at accessibility panel and everythink working ok.
