so being excited for iOS 9 and new features it brings to notes, I pushed myself to use notes more often. Just now though I tried to insert two pictures into notes and it said "max notes size limit reached"? There's a size limit? I just figured it would be as much as I wanted or probably my iCloud limit.

Oddly I noticed this too just yesterday. Had about 10 bullet points of text, and 4 or 5 pics inserted and it said "reached notes limit".

Oh dear! I have a 75 page/screen note that works perfectly in iOS8. Not good.

Its based on file size. This isn't a new issue I'm on iOS 8.1.3

It would help if Apple tell us what the size limit is or if it is the size of the photo and not the note itself.

You'd think Apple would use your iCloud's private storage to host the files and insert a thumbnail in the note to save space.

Welp, guess I'm going back to notability! Uses iCloud, no limit and will backup to drop box if I want

It has to be the size of the images. If they were at full size and resolution . . . . . but for text only I think you will have a hard ime finding a limit for each file.

I have a 20 MB note on El Cap, with 10 photo's in there, I don't have iOS 9 so can't see if it sync's there, but it does show on icloud.com fine.

i havent reached/exceeded the file limit before. but i always try to reduce the size of my files online before uploading it.
