I find it strange how some things are taxed from iTunes and some aren't. Some movies/TV shows/music I buy aren't taxed but sometimes they are.

Could have swore android store was taxed too? I seem to remember paying sales tax when I had my droid 2 years ago?

Trolling hard. Funny to see people's reaction

are you kidding me ? in google play you pay 99 cents its NINTY-NINE cents not a dollar+.06

I was going to give you a serious answer to your question, but then I realised that you are probably just trolling anyway.

are you kidding me ? in google play you pay 99 cents its NINTY-NINE cents not a dollar+.06, what does that even accomplish. so if you pay a 25$ app like the big cloud/ office apps will it charge you that extra 7% tax ? thats kind of rediculous who does it go to and why does android not require it but iOS does ?

I haven't experienced this yet. When I get my iTunes receipts it says 0.99 total. Never saw anything about taxes on my receipts.

Just for the record, I think that sales tax on software is an utter rip-off because according to every EULA I've ever seen, you don't own the software, just a license to use it.
