What is this real Apple you speak of?

The beige box days when they offered products that competed against their own products?

No, Apple that changed that beige box into everything we have today...
I would hate to see the comeback of that beige box, but I am afraid we will not have a box of any color to speak of if the iThings will have absolute preference by Apple.
I understand that it brings most of the revenue, and that they are great products, hell, I love my iPod, iPhone and iPad, but never forget the people who were the most loyal... computer people... It will hurt you at some point in time.

I kind of wonder if that tag is automatically assigned where products have been updated within X number of days. It must a pretty complex framework given the number of country specific Apple sites and supported languages worldwide.

No one cheats death. We were lucky he beat the cancer back for as long as he did. You have to admire his courage and strength for sticking with Apple through all of it, that is dedication at its finest.

He hand picked and thoroughly vetted everyone at the higher levels. Apple is in good hands.

It is too early to know if Steve picked the right people. I stated - though I was wrong - that Cook would never get the nod as he was a supply chain guy and product innovation is at the heart of Apple.

My belief is that the jury is still out on Tim as a visionary leader.

Steve did pick him - but remember Steve also hand picked John Scully.
