iBook doesn't have mini DVI, it has mini VGA and comes with a mini VGA -> VGA adapter. You can knock one off your list already!!

#1- I would like a 20" ACD. :)

#2- I would like a MacBook/MacBook Pro to replace my iBook G4. :)

#3- iSight. :)

I bought an iSight today... it's fantastic :) Worth every penny... especially cool using stuff like evobarcode with it.

Anyway onto my list...

- Another external hard drive - one of those LaCie designed by FA Porsche to stack with the one I've already got.

- Mac-compatible DTT TV tuner device

- Bluetooth headset compatible with Skype

- USB MIDI keyboard (next on my list probably) and a copy of Logic Express.

That's it... for now ;)

Wouldn't that take you to 3.5 gb....?

Oooooh....

Apple Cinema Display (23" or 20")
B/T Mighty Mouse (please Apple!) and B/T Keyboard
Another external HD (where does all the space go?)
iSight
As we're dreaming, a 15" MBP
RAM is always good.
Im gonna wait until the 50" ACD comes out alongside the G5 PB. But no, a 23" acd and a klipsch or triad audio system with a ES5000 amp/reciever form sony to compliment my PB would be awesome. Almost enopugh power to shake the clothes off of women. haha. (the italianne job was quoted, yes)

To get rid of my desktop. I HATE being stuck at my desk. It really sucks.

So, I want a MacBook (13.3").

if i had a mac i would probably want

BT keyboard/mouse
Harmon Kardon Soundsticks II
20" ACD

a new iMac:
Reb B 20" (hopefully it will be out by July 9th for my birthday)

Final Cut Studio (a real update w/ FCP 6 Motion 3 etc) for the new iMac

i had a bad... really bad experience with my griffin icurve. it was really great until one day the 2 rubber nubs on the front of it (which prevents the laptop from falling off) popped off. i litterally watched my powerbook slide off of it and crash into my powermac. lets just say i won't be buying another one... ever.

when i get my first mac

MacBook 13.3"
BT mouse
Icurve
BT keyboard
Maxed out ram

:p

Probably just a new, bigger external hard drive, so I can start using my Mini as a media center as well. That's all!

Hey, I got my wish this week! Woo! 300GB here I come! So, uh, I guess maybe now I want some more RAM? Or some sort of USB-powered device that produces money for me to buy more upgrades with?

List:
2nd display
Bigger HDD for external
Another External for DVD Burner
BT Mouse - can't find them anymore why?
iSight
... and I've already upgraded my RAM so I'm good.

External LCD display (19"+ widescreen)
External HDD (maybe the Seagate 750GB)

Projector for watching movies
Surround amp, and surround speaker setup for watching movies

Intel duo Mac Mini as a home theater computer, internet connected file server, and maybe development server. (not really necessary, since my laptop really does what I need, but it would be a bit more convenient).

And a MBP. I could probably live with a 15", if it was hooked up to an external display.

Oh, a quad with dual 30" ACDs would be nice for work@home, but a bit too costly. And dealing with syncing files between that and a laptop could be a hassle.

For my pb:

20" ACD

BT Mighty Mouse(Id buy this the second theyre announced)

BT Keyboard

iCurve or maybe iLap

Im actually all set on external storage with Iomega 250gb and Western Digital 80 gb but I wouldnt mind a Lacie Little Big Disk just because theyre so nice-looking.

Miglia Tv-Dealie

M-Audio StudioPhile DX4(Speakers)

Focusrite Saffire FireWire 400

Ableton Live 5

Logic Pro...

Whoah thats a long list, I better start saving. :D

I find it amazing how I want so many things for my mac.

I've got a few things for it already (crumpler sleeve and backpack, radtech screensaverz, and BT mouse)

Things I still want to get include (and in no particular order):
BT keyboard
iCurve
More RAM
Speakers (soundsticks or creatures or kilpsh pro-media)
Apple cinema display

Whats on your list?

i have exactly your list, sans ACD.....definitely go for it, its well good! oh, and i have creative itrigues.

i dont think i will be getting an ACD though.

my current list is:

eyeTV (probably not, as reception is rubbish here and i dont want to get distracted too much:D)
wouldnt mind an isigh either....and a skype phone.

but these are things i dont really need. thats the only bad thing about my mac...i want to pimp it out, which means £££'s!

S

BT mouse, Logitech V270.
You get a "REAL" 2 button mouse and scrollwheel.
None of the fake mightymousecrap

The V270 just works, no drivers, no software.
Apple bluetooth finds it and needs no modification.
And the battery life is great, I havent changed my batteries in over 4 months.
Im still using the original AA Duracell that came in the package.

- iSight
- External Hard Drive (I still have 20GB left on my mini's, but I've started taking a lot of photos.)
- 30" ACD (Okay, so it doesn't work with the mini, but I still want one! ;) )

And... that's about it. After recently upgrading to 1 gig of RAM, I've basically got everything I really want.

Oh, BTW, I also want a pair of Xbox360 controllers. My brother just got one for his mac, and says it works great.

And eyeTV too.

UPDATE: I got the xbox360 controllers. Works well with the unofficial OS X drivers found on versiontracker. I am using them with a SNES emulator.
