Things I'm tired of hearing

With the launch of the next iPhone apparently just around the corner, I wanted to take a minute and send along a list of the words/phrases/etc. that I've gotten sick of hearing over the last year and a half. I know nobody really cares, but here it is anyway. And keep in mind that while I really AM tired of hearing these things, the list is all in FUN....

Top 10 iPhone related things I'm sick of hearing

10. 'slide out keyboard'
9. 'non removable battery'
8. 'cut & paste'
7. 'we sold that many before lunch'
6. 'price point'
5. 'MMS'
4. 'haptic feedback'
3. comments from europe/asia/australia about how 3G will save the world
2. 'iPhone killer'
1. 'tactile'
 
well I am tired of seeing like 10 new threads each day about 3G this and 3G that. and like 5 out of 10 of them ask the same question. "how much, when, what well it look like, GPS, 3G?, etc."

Agreed. Also "new 3g iphone image!" when it's clearly a photoshopped image.

There should really just be a stickied thread that answers all of the daily questions. "We don't know when the 3G iPhone will come out, how much it will cost or what will be on it. Steve Jobs will let you know June 9. The phone will likely be released later in the month with 3G and perhaps one to a million new features rumored about. It will probably cost the same for each storage level, but rumors float that AT&T will cut the cost contract signers."

I think MMS is the most annoying reference daily or weekly because I just don't use it. I didn't use it before because of the cost of sending some picture I could just send later. If I know someone with a smartphone, I'll send it to them via e-mail. Otherwise, they can just get it in their e-mail later since I don't have to pay $5 per send.
 
Yeah, #7 is a reference to the CEO's of Nokia, Motorola, and the others who boast how they sell soooooo many more phone's than Apple. I haven't actually heard that one too often, but it's so incredibly annoying to just hear it once or twice, I figured it warranted a spot. Plus, I needed one more to fill out the list.

why ask us when we can only speculate as much as the person asking?!

come on now...new things always comes out.you just play the waiting game..good that you have an iphone.. something always new come out .i was like that too till i got me one..very happy..enjoy it
 
And for me, the Grand Poobha:

yep.... that one is definitely annoying...

ive noticed GPS hasnt made it in there ;)

as for the stickied thread. WE MIGHT AS WELL HAVE ONE!
the when/where/what/how 3G thread is up to half a million pages or something... so why not sticky it until it comes out?
.... then trash it
 
You don't see it so often these days but the one that got my goat was anything FCC related. ie. "Wont it have to go through FCC approval first?" or the confident statement that "there's no iPhone coming in June because we would have seen FCC by now..."
 
how bout "I work/know someone inside apple, and I have it under good word the iphone2 will be released in MAY"

I wouldn't go that far, but that definitely would be a mark against them for missing MMS for a 2nd time. That's part of the reason why I won't move from my Blackberry. MMS is a convenient feature, not a must have for some, but very convenient.
 
how about the words "glass" "aluminum" and "plastic," in the context of "Apple would never, or I will never buy if apple does..."

I cannot wait for the Youtube video of a dork destroying a 3G iPhone at the Apple Store.
