Being Pro-choice in a Christian school gets me a ton of ****. Also, for listening to the music I do. People don't seem to respect musical tastes anymore.

I also get **** for looking like Mclovin.

Being a freshman. That's the big one. Not a lot I can do for that.

And being so tall and skinny. 6'1, 140 pounds right after I eat a big meal. I get all the time: "Do you ever eat? Are you anorexic? Where does all your food go? Obviously not on your body!" I wish I could bulk up, really - I'm in show choir, and none of my costumes fit right, because apparently according to my measurements I'm an extra small-petite, but I'd really fit better in something along the lines of a medium-tall - but it would be too wide. All of my street shirts fit oddly, too - either they fit right width-wise and they're too short(as in midriff-baring short) or they look really baggy on me, but are long enough.

I've always hated that one. I'm a senior constantly yelling at people for their ":rolleyes:what is a freshman/sophmore/junior sitting HERE for" crap.

People used to razz me about having all the Corrs CDs and a bunch of celtic stuff. Plus, I have a tendency to prefer chick flicks to ego trips...

I dress pretty snappy most of the time and feel moderately confident in my own skin, so whether people make fun of my personal style I don't care to notice. Not to my face.. I don't 'fit in' by any means, but somehow avoid being the direct target, ya know?

I can be pretty bookish, wear glasses and give the impression (so I've heard) I listen to classical music and play chess in my spare time (....?!).

...aaaaaand I'm always picked last when we play football.

I am given hell for,

Loving Guns N Roses too much, listening to them too much, wearing their shirts too much, and filling my house up with their memorabilia.
Listening to the 80's music too much in general
Loving music a lot
Loving guitars, trains, tools, gadgets, football, guns, and cars too much, most women can't stand me :D, cause I am nothing like them

I learned to either tune it out, or telling people to stuff a sock in their pieholes.. lol

I'm quiet, don't really talk to people unless I know them
I work too much and go to school full-time
No real social life (see above). The little free time I have is spent sleeping, eating or homework.
Some of the clothes I wear.
Been in college for 7 years.

-Not liking Obama (not racist, but giving tax cuts to the poor to create jobs? i never got a job from a poor man)
-Conservative Catholic
-Republican
-Apple Fanboy
-Golf Team
-Being white (not pale, there are a lot of black people on my classes, im a minority)
-liking Coldplay over U2
-not wearing jeans with holes in them (pay more for less?)

Not amazingly fond of MCR, but Panic's 2nd album was GREAT. I HATE the first one, but LOVE the 2nd, very modern Beatle-esque.

Really!? Dude, that's totally the opposite of what I've been hearing. Everyone I talk to dislikes the second album.
I always tell them it's just different.
Myself, I love them both.

Alright, so you claim that you don't want to be cool, yet you listen to mainstream music?

Wow. That comment wasn't pointless at all.
I listen to My Chemical Romance because it's what I like, if you read all of my previous post.
Why would I try to listen to it to be "cool?"
Did I ask for you opinion on what you thought about it? No.

Musical tastes is proportional to coolness???

Tell me where I fall with these on my ipod:

Coheed & Cambria
Billy joel
Elton John
Thin lizzy
The beatles
BB king
Blink 182
Boston
The Byrds
Fiest
Panic at the Disco
Ray Charles
System of a down
Vanessa calton - big fan

No offense, but the very idea that you were hinting at is extremely juvenile.

Exactly. I was just like, "Wtf is this poster talking about?"

There is no fight here, just me pointing out a ridiculous statement.

Hmm... seems to me that he decided not to be apart of it because you proved him wrong.

people give me **** for owning designer stuff.
people give me **** for having a coheed and cambria keywork on my car.
people give me **** for eating meat.
people give me **** for not drinking alcohol.

people give each other **** all the time.
you can either let it effect you, or not let it effect you.

Mostly for shooting the sheriff, even though it was in self-defense. I tend to get it for shooting the deputy, but I wasn't involved in that one. ****er had it coming, though.

As someone approaching my mid thirties, have to say 99% of the items in this thread I couldn't care less about. Most people I know wouldn't care either.

I'm posting from work :) and sitting in the office here, on my left is someone with long bright red hair and a few piercings, opposite me is a gay bloke, on the other side is a christian who also works in a church movement. Everyone's cool with each other.

See, it's called accepting people as what they are.

(although, to keep on topic, people do give me **** for being late  that still seems a cardinal sin around here )

Being pedantic, too honest and a perfectionist, Im also a tenacious S o B. I always have gotten **** along the way and never fitted in,I suppose because I like to do things right and don't think- I can't be bothered , I do the job till done , to my best, every time and it pisses people off sometimes..... thing is now I think feck it and just carry on making my music regardless and don't let it get to me ....and if folks get on, cool , if not cool, it's all good....... mostly

being very nerdy compared to almost everyone i know, apart from one or two others. Also, people reckon my music taste is weird cos i don't have the sorta music that you'd see on the itunes top 10 list

I can't stand football. Being in the homeland of the beautiful game, and being a male, this can sometimes raise a funny look. Not that I give a s***. Football is crap. :D

For example: I've yet to find someone who likes Kula Shaker, hell, anyone who's even heard of Kula Shaker to be honest...

People haven't heard of Kula Shaker... what's that all about?

I love the music of Tom Waits and though I don't particularly get hassle for that, I am used to getting "is there something wrong with his throat?" and similar joshing from friends and family.
