I have an Original 20" 2ghz Intel Core 2 Duo aluminum iMac and it is just great...

Upped the ram to 3gb and the machine runs like a dream..... bought on the day of release almost and can see no reason in upgrading until 2015 at the earliest.

Just a plain old 2.0 🙁 But still it runs smooth.

I have a lion file to put on a USB stick then I will install it. Thought I had an 8gb stick but biggest I could find in my house was 4gb will head to the shops at the weekend.

I was thinking about getting an Aluminum Unibody MacBook instead of the iMac, but that way my desk would look really empty...

I don't think there's going to be a lot of difference in speed between the 2.1 GHz PowerPC G5 and the 2.4 Intel Core 2 Duo, though. We'll see 🙂
