Being a new year, I thought it would be a good time to impart a little wisdom on the young and old alike. So, now that you are as old as you are, are where you are, and know what you know, what do you wish someone had told you a year ago? Ten years ago? What would you go back and tell yourself? I'm not talking about incidental knowledge, but more general tidbits. I wish: that someone had told me that club soda really does remove almost any stain if used correctly. I got rose petal stains out of Egyptian cotton without damaging the threads just by giving the stained spots a little soaking. What do you offer the masses?
