Well done! This is my favorite theme so far. I like the blending of the iPod screens and the quotes. Very nice job! Care to let us in on who thought of this one?

I liked this one a lot - nice job! took me a little while to realize that they were linked by the Think Different quote. I was hoping you'd list them all out together like this at some point. Very cool!

much better than the last one, that's for sure! :D
 
I'm probably going to miss a few key players, but special thanks to:

Dubbz and emw for making quite a few of our 'tars for us, Photoshop-less or w/out the skills. :p Thanks to szark for coming up w/ the details of the track times and whatnot.

And of course, our very own Doctor Q who helped to organize us all...

As with the other themes, it was developed through the use of carefully assigned Contributor planning committees, staffed to leverage the creative energy of various members while also the pragmatism of others, finally resulting in a theme that can be implemented in a reasonable time frame.








Ah crap, who am I kidding? These ideas are generally the result of some chaotic, drunken discussions among the contributors during the annual Contributor Beach Party at arn's house in the Mediterranean, which this year took place in August. After that event, we eliminate the ideas that are impractical, not as fun as we'd originally thought, or just downright illegal. We then develop a comprehensive implementation plan for the year and go at it.

We finish our best theme yet just in time for tomorrow's announcements. Perfect timing!

Hopefully we get some big news tomorrow. My gut tells me this isn't going to be something awesome.

I hope not. I'm hoping for Mac updates. Dual-core PowerMacs, hopefully Powerbook updates maybe more. Some people think there will be Intel Macs announced/released - I can't see Apple jumping the gun by that much, maybe at MWSF, but not this soon. If there are iPod updates I think it'll just be 40/80 GB with a slightly smaller/refined design, perhaps more along the looks of the nano at the same price points 300/400 USD. We'll see, I haven't been this excited about a special event in a while though.

My point of view is different. I love this current Avatar. All it needs is some slight modifications and I'm good to go. :)
