I have the herman miller aeron chair, which I also bought with my poker winnings :). I had to take the arms off because of my old school desk though. I really should invest in a new desk...

My chair is just an old rolling blue office chair... nothing special... It's comfortable enough, but sometimes the levers get jammed.

Haha... just bought one at Staples the other night... It's the extreme tech (Lane... although Lane actually just allows them to be branded). It's very confortable. It's priced at $199.

Yes, I definitely have an Aeron chair, and I'm pretty sure iGary does, too. Aerons ROCK. (And swivel.)

Sigh. So jealous. I should start a "Donate money towards an Aeron" site. :p Dunno what a suitable "prize" (ya know, interest-raising gimmick) would be though...
 
I've got one of the Aeron chairs too..in fact my whole office does, there must be hundreds around here.

Taken me so long to get the thing comfortable though..!
 
I'm using a cheap, nylon-web outdoor sling chair I bought at Target.

I like it too! It really "breathes."
 
Maybe I should give this feedback to the Herman Miller guy I'm working on a software issue with right now.... :D

I once saw the CAD Model of one of their chairs many moons ago. That was a thing of beauty!

Do you get a discount on those freakishly pricey chairs? If so, I'm terribly jealous.

Are they big chairs like executive style chairs... i need a new chair at home but space is limited... I have a corner desk....

Yeah, I wish! No, they just pay our company lots of money so that we'll be nice and helpful to them when they call in with questions and problems. :D
 
I wish I had kept my chair, but the darn thing wouldn't go up and down anymore, it only went down :(. It was the best chair I've ever had and due to some freaky sale at Office Max 6+ years ago, it was $20. Retail was $300 according to the office max website. I think the kid was new and didn't ring it up right.

It's what it DOESN'T do that makes the Aeron special.

It doesn't hurt your back or your legs.
It has a mesh seat, so it doesn't make your back sweat. (Plus it's easy to clean.)
It doesn't force your arms into weird positions.

There's a reason (several, actually) why the Aeron is still the best chair out there... I've had mine for 5 and a half years and I love it.
