I live in Bristol in the UK, and the City of Bristol college offer a C programming course. I'm looking into learning Objective-C to give iPhone app development a go, so would taking a course in C first be a good place to start? I've heard C and Objective-C are closely interlinked so I'm guessing the course would be a good thing?

Thanks

If you never programmed before, you should go just to learn the basics of programming. If you know how to program but want to start learning C to learn Objective-C, i'd say no, because unless the course talks about pointers and more advanced stuff, you wont learn much to help you program in Objective-C.
