Christmas is around the corner, thinking about getting iPad rMini for the kids. Is 16gb good enough? Or should I be better of with the 32gb. I have 32gb iPad Air for myself.

Kids? As in more than one? 16GB may not be enough. Remember, you will actually only have about 13GB of usable space. Apps these days (especially games) are actually getting quite large.

16GB would be acceptable, but 32GB would be great for long term. If you're the kind of person who likes to get the bare minimum then 16GB won't be a "bad" choice. With 16GB it's not like they're going to be suffering because they have to delete a big app every time they want to delete a new one. But like I said, for long term the safe route is 32GB. Also if it is multiple kids using this then I would go with the 32GB

My kids have iPads & need 64GB. They have have some apps that are 1GB, typically large "find it" games. They also have lots of media.
My advice would be to go for 64GB if you can, otherwise 32GB.
