I was always using less than 1GB per month, because I use my phone the most in areas that have wifi, so I switched the 2GB plan and am super happy!

The unlimited data will not last forever anyway. Make the move, you won't regret it. I'm loving the personal hotspot feature!

I'm sure he'll also love the money he saves per month. That money adds up over time.

I'm actually saving a few dollars per month because I lowered my minutes plan which I didn't need and I'm saving $5/month by getting rid of my unlimited data plan and I now have the option to tether.:) Besides, I like going the legal route plus I don't want to slow my phone down by jail breaking it. ;)

Like I said...if you don't go near the data limit, the personal hotspot feature is great to have and totally worth giving up unlimited data for.

There's no reason to give up Unlimited Data. Unlimited, by the true definition (if one looks the term in a dictionary *is* without limits.

The fact that AT&T is trying to get people on this plan to pay for tethering in addition is unethical. Period.

If people "buy into" AT&T's definition of Unlimited = data to a point that we as a company deem appropriate for our profit margin, then... we might as well start redefining many other terms in the dictionary to suit our own personal views.

Unlimited + tetherme = mobile heaven

i jailbreak for 2 reasons. To make my iphone a native google voice phone. And tether.

Yes i tether for free.
