Ok, yea another topic about light leaks.

I've been thinking hard about replacing my ipod for light leaks for a while now. It has become visible now whenever I use it. So for those who have sent their ipods back in for replacements, how long did it take them to send you a replacement? Is it it even worth it? I have an apple store in my city so will they replace it on the spot or will i have to wait for it to come in the mail?

Also, is there any way to get rid of the stratches on ipod screens especially the newer models?

Thanks in advance!

It depends if the Genius agrees to swap out your iPod, and if they do agree, it matters if they have it in stock. If they have it in stock, you'll likely get a replacement right there, but if you don't, they might suggest sending it via mail. It is up to you whether or not you want to exchange it.

Scratches cannot really be undone.
I'd recommend a screen protector or one of those wrapsol case things for scratches.
