Thinking about replacing TIM on my MacBook Pro 15"

Hello all. I have noticed that my temps are slow getting hotter and hotter as time goes on (past 2 years).


I know the heat sink is clean (as I cleaned it when I put my 500GB drive in).


What are your thoughts? It is probably the cheap silicone based crap that dries out after a while...

Also Apple didn't apply thermal paste correctly. I would suggest usig AS5 or Arctic Cooling MX-3. Remember less is more. You don't want to much.
