Thinking of buying a....something

I, like many on here have been waiting anxiously for a Macbook Pro & iMac update but they haven't come. Hopefully they will soon.

I don't need a Mac if I'm honest, and that's why I've been able to wait since August 2007 for an update (for the MBP), but I really dislike my Windoze PC.

I'm just wondering whether it's worth buying a Macbook or a Mac Mini for the moment, just to get me out of the Windoze camp.

Any ideas?

I'm just looking for something basic that I won't lose too much money on. I was considering a G4 PowerMac for now, but they are about £200 2nd hand

G4 powermac? no, don't buy that. PPC is dead, you pay for symbolic rather than practical values.

If you don't want to spend too much, get a mini with 1G ram, should be fine.
