I have two eMacs in the family and they are great machines. We had no problems with them in a year. The only drawback is that they make more noise than the old CRT iMac en the LCD iMac.

They are fast, look good, have good speed and good colors and large screen and are expandable by USB and FireWire.

Hi guys!

This will be my - get this - 8th Apple/Macintosh computer over a 12 year period. :) (Just took an inventory, lol)

So I've been a Mac (or should I say "Apple") owner since the Apple IIe. I owned two of those, and then I upgraded to a Mac SE (remember them? :) ) when they came out. From there I moved up to a Mac IIcx, then on to a Performa, then my first Power Mac, then to my current iMac G3/600. :) Thinking back to my first Apple, boy those were VERY different days than we are in now... wow, and to think, that was only about a decade or so ago. Now we're looking at this awesome G5 - amazing how things change. :)

And to answer another question in this thread, yes, I have the old style Graphite rounded-screen iMac. :)

So yes.. I've been a Mac owner "forever" and I'm probably just as positively opinionated about them as most of the Mac FAN-atics on this board. :)
