So I like my gadgets. Currently have an iPhone 11 Pro Max, One Plus 7t Pro (for work) and a Pixel 3 (vanilla Android plus used as back up phone).

I’m thinking of selling the Pixel 3 and getting the SE 2 in white - like the nostalgic look of the phone and coupled with the A13 I think it’ll be very good for what it is.

What do you guys think? Is it just an itchy finger that I have and this quarantine that is making me think silly, or should I go for it?

Thoughts welcomed!

Depending on what you can sell the pixel for, I think you’re just bored and want something new. The SE makes no sense for you, since you currently have 3 very solid phones. You have the best iPhone available, one of the best androids and the best small android phone. The SE is below all of them in many ways.

This is what I keep thinking and if I’m honest you’ve hit the nail on the head with wanting something new. The Pixel 3 I would probably end up selling through something like Music Magpie here in the UK for £200.

It’s that feeling of having a small factor phone - the OnePlus and Pro Max are big phones - Pixel 3 is the friendliest in the hand and that’s what I’d swap for a different smaller phone (SE).

Your response is very sensible, it’s whether or not I can be sensible in return. The fact that delivery dates haven’t slipped yet doesn’t make it easier either!

I know how you feel. If you didn’t have the pro max then it makes sense. As it is, the se does literally nothing better than the pro max besides be small. The OnePlus is also a better phone in most ways. If you can get a good chunk for the pixel then it’s not so bad, but I wouldn’t do it in your situation.

I’m glad I started this thread now - I would have bought if I hadn’t bounced my thoughts out. I’ve decided to stop looking this evening and hopefully come tomorrow morning I’ll have slept on it and be glad that I didn’t bite the bullet on it. Thanks!

Pixel 3 camera system should still blow the SE2 away. Not to mention a bigger battery and display.
