Thinking of going from Otterbox Defender to Clear Case

I have a 5S gold phone on order. I have used Otterbox Defenders for my last 3 iPhones but I want to be able to see the gold color of this one. Are there any clear cases that approach the durability of the Defender? I don't mind if the case is bulky or if there is non-clear material protecting the edges of the phone as long as most of the back of the phone is visible. Any suggestions?

If you wanna see the color, go naked and enjoy your phone. With today's obsolescence there's no reason to take so much care. It'll be worth nothing really soon.

I would argue the resale value point for keeping your phone protected. You still can get a nice price for a previous gen iphone in perfect shape
