not sure "wtw" means... edit.. i think i may have confused you. i didnt mean when new models of rMBP come out, i meant when cheaper SSD models come out.. then you can just swap out the SSD in the macbook.. or should i be buying stock in weight watchers?

no its replaceable by user. there just arent any available at the moment, so the point is moot. maybe another year. but the SSD is not like the ram, its not soldered in.

The SSD is about the only user-replaceable part (but, as flipnap says, there currently are no third-party replacements). See the ifixit teardown for details (see step #10). Since it's a proprietary form-factor, you can expect replacements to be horribly expensive.
