i'm shopping for a wireless carrier with an affordable plan for use with my iPhone SE. i was about to go with verizon's cheapest plan at $35, for 2gb of data. then when i was about to checkout, i saw the monthly access line fee of $20, and hidden taxes which wasnt calculated into the equation. i'm thinking i would be paying $60 all in all.

t-mobile and sprint's network isn't very good in my area. ATT is decent and good, 2nd to verizon. so i went to cricket's site and saw some really good deals. and since it uses ATT's network, i figure this is a great deal.

but before i switch, is there anything i should watch out for or be concerned with. does cricket get good coverage?

Cricket is basically AT&T's cheaper offering. AT&T owns it so you can just go ahead and get it.

Just get this: https://bestmvno.com/cell-phone-plan/straight-talk-3/

They use the VZW network as well. Unlimited talk/text and 5GB of data for $40/mo (with auto pay).

The only negative is capped data speeds, but 5Gbps isn't bad.

Cricket is offering $200 off certain iPhone models of you switch and port in a number. $349.99 for a 32 GB iPhone 7. $469.99 for the iPhone 7 Plus and some deals on the 8’s too.
