This started to be annoying. I was having 8 sticks of Micron FB-DIMM's 800 MHz each 4 GB = 32 GB total with small heatsinks. To cool them down I've installed Zalman BGA heatsinks on top of them. 5th April 2011 - first stick died, replaced with Hynix 29th November 2011 - second stick died, replaced with Kingston 16 Februrary 2012 - third stick died, about a month before I've replaced all Zalman aluminium heatsinks with high-end copper Enzotech Heatsinks. What's going on with this Micron ? My current temps are as follows: 69,68,73,60,69,63,69,60 Is this too high for FB-DIMM ?
