Third party battery

Hello there,

Does anyone have any experience with third party battery for the Macbook Pro early 2008 (silver keys)? I want to change the battery on this computer, but I am not willing to pay up to $200 with taxes for a 3 hour long battery.

Anyone bought from ebay?

Even if the battery isn't as long lasting, it's ok because I will change this computer in about a year, a year and half.

Batteries aren't $200; they're $129. I would never trust or recommend a non-Apple battery, based on the number of problems that have been reported by those who tried them. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:
