third party keybaord volume controls?

I'm using a Zippy WK-722 keyboard with my mac and everything works fine except for the multimedia keys. The sleep button works and the mute button responds to the "Stop (cd controls)" button. the actual volume buttons on the keyboard (up, down, mute) don't respond. Scroll Lock and Pause work as f14 and f15.

I don't really need f14 and 15 to be assigned to the monitor keys as the aluminum display has controls on the side of it. Is there any way to reassign the f14, f15 buttons to volume controls, or get the multimedia keys to work? There are no mac drivers for the keyboard.

have you gone into your system preferences then go into keyboard/mouse then keyboard shortcuts. I don't know if that will fix the volume control or not... but you can customize everything else in there... especially your function buttons.
