I've tried a few third party keyboards, but keep going back to the stock one due to personal preference. I've been hearing a lot of comments from the web about users worrying about third party keyboards logging personal data, passwords, PINS, etc.

Has it actually been proven that third party keyboard developers really are logging our personal information? I just don't see the difference between the stock keyboard and giving third party keyboards "full access" in order to use it system wide.

Not all require full access, and those that do (at least the mainstream ones) do it to sync up with their container app for added functionality, like predictions and the like. In various cases, like password entry, for example, iOS automatically brings up the default keyboard on its own for security.
