Third Party Memory has ECC Errors

I've never seen an ECC error on any Intel workstation that I've used. I think I've seen a spec from a major memory stick maker that says one flip per gigabyte per week is their standard.

I've experienced them on an old Alpha a decade ago but that was because I wasn't using memory with the right voltage spec.
